Day 8 - Women’s Conference Prayer Journey

We’ve made it to Day 8 of our prayer journey! Today, we focus on putting on the full armor of God as we prepare for the Women's Conference and the battles we may face in our lives. God equips us to stand firm, and we already know that in Him, we have the victory!

I encourage you to read the prayer below silently first, and then pray it out loud. This will help you understand what you’re coming into agreement with, and allow the prayer to truly become your own. They are written in the first person so that you can declare them with boldness!

Day Eight Prayer:

“Heavenly Father, this is the day that You have made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24). Today, I put on the full armor of God as outlined in Ephesians 6:10-18. I fasten the belt of Truth, put on the breastplate of righteousness, and fit my feet with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. I wear the helmet of salvation, which is the Word of God, to protect me from the enemy’s lies. I take up the shield of faith, which extinguishes all the flaming arrows of the evil one, because I know that You can and will move on my behalf. Everything I have prayed for, I believe I received it when I prayed (Mark 11:24). I take up the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word, and declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Every word spoken against me in judgment, I shall condemn in Jesus' name.

Wherever I go, I know that You are with me, and You are for me (Romans 8:31).

Lord, I repent for any time I have spoken contrary to Your Word. I repent for the times I’ve seen myself through a lens that wasn’t Yours. You say that I am bold and courageous (Joshua 1:9). You say that I am the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath (Deuteronomy 28:13). You say that I am forgiven and redeemed by the blood of the Lamb (Ephesians 1:7). You call me beautiful, a mighty warrior, and Your child, with all the rights and privileges of the Kingdom (Romans 8:16-17). You’ve given me the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions, and nothing shall harm me (Luke 10:19). You remind me that I don’t need to fear or worry because if You care for the lilies of the field and the birds of the air, how much more will You take care of me (Matthew 6:26-30)!

Lord, I thank You for what You’re going to do in my life at the Women's Conference. I know this is not just another event but a time of refreshing and receiving new marching orders. I may not march in the infantry or ride in the cavalry, but I’m in the Lord’s army! I thank You for the generals and leaders who will encourage and train us for spiritual warfare. I know that my battle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers and authorities of this dark world (Ephesians 6:12). I also recognize that the enemy often works through people. Holy Spirit, help me to love my enemies and pray for those who persecute me (Matthew 5:44). Help me to walk in forgiveness so that my heart remains open to hear Your voice clearly. Thank You that whatever I face today, I already have the victory because You always cause me to triumph in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 2:14).

In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!”

Thank you for joining me in prayer today. Together, we are putting on the armor of God and standing firm in the victory He’s already given us!
