Day 7 - Women’s Conference Prayer Journey

Welcome to Day 7 of our prayer journey! Today, we are focusing on the theme of standing boldly in our faith and asking God to equip us to be the light in this dark world. As the world grows darker, Jesus reminds us to be the salt of the earth and a city on a hill that cannot be hidden. Today’s prayer is for the speakers, every attendee, and the important decisions we’ll make to shape the future.

I encourage you to read the prayer below silently first, and then pray it out loud. This will help you understand what you’re coming into agreement with, and allow the prayer to truly become your own. This prayer is written in the first person so that you can declare it with boldness!

Day Seven Prayer:

“Heavenly Father, thank You for the Women's Conference. Thank You for plowing up the fallow ground within me so that I will be good soil where Your Word can be planted (Hosea 10:12). Thank You for the speakers, the worship team, and the Faith Life staff who are working diligently to prepare for this conference. Thank You for the friendships that will be strengthened and the new ones that will be formed. Most of all, thank You for Your presence that will fill every heart and every moment.

God, our world is getting darker, just as Jesus warned us it would (Matthew 24:12). But He also called us to be the salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13) and a light in the darkness, a city on a hill that cannot be hidden (Matthew 5:14). You have called us to be bold and courageous, not to hide our light, but to let it shine brightly! Lord, I ask that You empower me to shine with boldness for Your glory.

Lord, I thank You for Jenny Donnelly. I thank You that she is a beacon of light in this dark world and that she fights relentlessly for truth. I thank You that she is committed to freeing the voices of women, enabling us to stand for our families and for this nation, turning hearts back to You. I ask that You would give her dreams and visions (Joel 2:28). Put a sword in her mouth so that her words cut through the weeds and go straight to the root of the matter. As she speaks at the Women's Conference, I pray that all who hear her will awaken and rise up to take a stand for righteousness, uniting to protect our children, grandchildren, and generations to come.

God, I ask for wisdom and discernment as we approach the polls in November. Help Your people to see through the deceit and elect leaders who will fight for our children and uphold righteousness (Proverbs 29:2). We need officials who will silence the nonsense and stand firm for truth. I realize that I can no longer sit on the sidelines, hoping someone else will speak up. You've called me to be courageous and to fear not (Joshua 1:9). So, Lord, here I am—put me in! I'm ready to take a stand, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen! Let it be!”

Thank you for standing with me in prayer today! I believe that God is preparing good things for you! Be expectant! Hallelujah!
